Your journey will begin from Pokhara, where our guide and porter will pick you up from your hotel. A short drive will take you to Nayapul, the starting point of your trek. You will start your trek from here, passing through small settlements and terraced fields. The trail is dotted with suspension bridges. You will spend your first night in the picturesque Ulleri village.

From Tikhedhunga, you will climb numerous stairs to reach Ulleri. The following day, trek to Ghorepani village. Trek through dense rhododendron and pine forests. Ghorepani is a beautiful village and offers stunning mountain views. From here, hike to the Poon Hill viewpoint. It is the most popular viewpoint in the lower Annapurna region.

The sunrise and the 270-degree mountain panorama from here are jaw-dropping. Descend to Tadapani to spend the night. The trail then continues to Jhinu Danda via Chhomrong village. From Chhomrong, you can extend the trek to Annapurna Base Camp. If not, follow a downhill route to Jhinu Danda to enjoy natural hot springs.

A few meters below this village, there are natural hot springs. You have to pay a few bucks to enjoy it. On the last day, you will descend through lush forests and verdant hills to Siwai, where the trek ends. A short drive will bring you back to Pokhara. Our crew will drop you off at the hotel.

Trek difficulty and how to manage elevation gain

Good health and decent walking habits are needed. The trail is adventurous and beautiful, so you will notice hiking less than 5 to 6 hours daily.

The trail passes through lush forests. The terrain is rugged and steep in some sections. You will frequently ascend and descend. The most challenging part is climbing over 3000 stairs from Tikhedhunga to Ulleri. Likewise, you will ascend to 3,210 meters throughout the trek.

The low elevation can trigger altitude sickness, so you must be cautious. Drink plenty of water and trek slowly. Avoid alcohol and smoking while ascending. Likewise, listen to your body and get ample rest every day. Some early symptoms of altitude sickness are vomiting, headache, insomnia, difficulty in breathing, nausea, and dizziness.

You will begin the journey early in the morning with a delicious breakfast. After that, get ready to leave your hotel. Enjoy beautiful mountain views and lush scenery while driving to Nayapul.

From here, you will start walking with your guide. The trail goes through Birethanti and other small settlements to Tikhedhunga. You will pass by lush forests and cross small suspension bridges.

From Tikhedhunga, climb several staircases to reach Ulleri. This part of the trail is challenging, so take frequent breaks and maintain your pace.

    Ghorepani is one of the famous villages in the lower Annapurna region. Inhabited mainly by Magar and Gurung tribes, this beautiful village is surrounded by rhododendron forests and snow-capped mountains.

    You can see stunning views of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, Mt. Fishtail, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Hiunchuli, and several others from here. The locals are friendly and welcome.

      On this day, you will hike to Poon Hill, renowned for its spectacular mountain panorama. You will start ascending before sunrise to witness a gorgeous sunrise and a jaw-dropping view of the western Himalayan range.

      The hiking route is well established. You will trek through rhododendron trees and gradually ascend to the viewpoint. Mountains like Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Hiunchuli, Nilgiri, Fishtail, Gangapurna, Tukuche, and numerous others are visible here.

      After enjoying the view, descend to Ghorepani village and continue trekking to Tadapani. You will follow a downhill trail via rhododendron and pine forests to Banthanti. From here, the trail ascends steeply through forests to Tadapani.

        You are almost at the end of the trek. From Tadapani, descend to Kimron Khola. From here, the trail goes through oak, rhododendron, and bamboo forests. You will reach Chhomrong village and continue trekking along a downhill trail to Jhinu Danda.

        Nearby Jhinu Danda, there are natural hot springs. These hot springs have healing properties. It will soothe your muscles and help you relieve any skin issues. You must pay a few bucks to use the hot springs, so carry some Nepali cash.

          Start the morning with a warm breakfast and leave Jhinu Danda. You will follow a plain dusty road along the Modi Khola. Enjoy a relaxing walk and beautiful scenery on the way. Trek past small villages and descend to Siwai, where the walking part ends.

          You will drive from Siwai to Pokhara. It will be a short and comfortable ride. The evening is free in Pokhara. Explore the Lakeside Market and enjoy a lovely sunset at Phewa Lake.
