We will explore many old historical sites in Kathmandu. You will visit palaces, courtyards, museums, art galleries, temples, and monasteries, as well as sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square.
The Durbar Square was the royal residence of the late kings of Nepal. It is now an open museum.
Likewise, the tour also takes you to the biggest stupa in Nepal, Boudhanath, one of the most significant pilgrimage sites in the country.
How can we forget the very famous Monkey Temple, aka Swayambhunath Stupa? Located on a hilltop, you must climb numerous staircases to reach the top.
Local markets, the bustling streets of Thamel, Garden of Dreams, and Ason Bazaar are other highlights of Kathmandu. We highly recommend tasting Nepali delicacies whenever you get a chance.
Pokhara: The Tourism Hub of Nepal
Pokhara is the second biggest city in Nepal. This place is known as the city of lakes. You stay around Phewa Lake, a gorgeous lake with views of Mt. Fishtail (6,993 m) and Dhaulagiri (8,167 m). Pokhara is famous for its tranquility and gateway to the Annapurna region.

Then, there are activities like canoeing, bird watching, bathing with elephants, and visiting their breeding centers. You can see wildlife such as one-horn rhinos, elephants, deer, the royal Bengal tiger, boars, peacocks, and many different birds.

The Dhampus Ghandruk trek difficulty & altitude sickness
Dhampus Ghandruk Trek is easygoing. The route mostly passes through rhododendrons, pine, oak, and fir forests. You will walk past small villages and cross a few suspension bridges.
The terrain is mountainous, so you can expect constant ascends and descends, but there will be no steep sections. Any fit individual can do this trek without any worry. From Dhampus Phedi at 1,130 meters, the trail ascends to 2,012 meters at Ghandruk village. The increase in elevation is minimal, and you stay below 2,500 meters.
Therefore, the risk of altitude sickness during the trek is rare.
