The Taste of Nepal Tour does not involve any strenuous or long walks on uneven paths. It is an easy tour. We use comfortable tourist standard vehicles to drive between the cities and the tourist sites. The tour is guided by an English-speaking guide who will introduce you to Nepali culture and traditions. You will learn about Nepal's history, art, and architecture.

A comfortable drive between Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan
We use a tourist standard vehicle for our commute between all the cities. The Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan highway is well made. Therefore, the ride is very comfortable and not bumpy at all. Likewise, the road goes along the verdant hills, and on the other side, you get to enjoy the beautiful scenery of rolling green hills, rivers, terraced farms, and waterfalls.
Guided tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu
Kathmandu, the city of temples, is where you will land in Nepal. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and home to many UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our full-day guided tour in this city is the beginning of your tour in Nepal with us. The tour will take you close to Nepali history and culture.
You will visit places like Monkey Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhnath Stupa, and Pashupatinath Temple. These are some of the places we have selected for your tour. If you want to visit any specific place, let us know before the tour begins. We will try our best to adjust it in the itinerary.
Visit Sarangkot and explore famous tourist sites in Pokhara
Located at 1,600 meters, Sarangkot is a famous viewpoint on the western side of the city. You will drive to Sarangkot early in the morning to witness a glorious sunrise and an excellent aerial view of Pokhara city. From here, you also get to see wonderful views of the western Himalayan mountains like Annapurna (8,091 m), Fishtail (6,993 m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), and Manaslu (8,163 m) on clear days.
Sarangkot is also famous for paragliding. If you want to fly in the sky with a professional instructor, then let us know in advance. We will arrange a ride for you at an additional cost. You will visit some tourist sites like Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, International Mountain Museum, etc.
Enjoy the sunset at Phewa Lake and boat on it
Phewa Lake is the heart of Pokhara, and around it is the tourist hub of the city, the Lakeside Market. The lake is known for its serenity and reflection of mountains like Fishtail, Annapurna & Dhaulagiri on it. In the middle of the lake is a small island where Tal Barahi Temple is situated. Likewise, Peace Pagoda and Bindhyabasini Temple are the other two major attractions around Phewa Lake.
You will spend a couple of nights in Pokhara. Enjoy your time exploring the bustling Lakeside market packed with restaurants, cafes, and souvenir shops. Spend a lot of time at the shore of Phewa Lake, soaking in its serene vibe. Many people love to go boating too.
Adventurous jungle activities in Chitwan National Park
Chitwan is known for its thrilling jungle activities. A place where you get close to wilds and spot exotic animals like one-horn rhinos, wild elephants, deers, pheasants, and many more. You will have a full day of jungle activities like safari, canoeing, bird watching, etc. Get to see many species of birds and come across aquatic life while canoeing.
Spend relaxing time in a resort or hotel away from the bustling sound of cities. Relax in nature and heal as you explore deep, dense forests. Witness a diverse range of vegetation and flora.
Meet an indigenous community called Tharu and see their cultural dance
Tharu are an indigenous tribe in Nepal. You will go on a short visit to their village on the day you'll arrive in Chitwan. This short visit is planned to let you meet with them and present their traditional stick dance. The Tharu village tour in Chitwan will be a great start to your tour here. Get to see their traditional clothes and have some of their assorted delicacies.
Taste Nepali Cuisines
In eight days of the tour, you will come across some of the most enchanting landscapes, meet with friendly locals, enjoy cordial Nepali hospitality, visit an indigenous village, and dive deep into delicious Nepali cuisine. We believe the best way to come close to locals and befriend a new country is by testing the local cuisine. Nepal is home to numerous ethnic groups and each of them has something unique to offer.
Ask our guide and he will take you to local restaurants and eateries where you can have Nepali flavors. As our taste of Nepal tour package does not include lunch and dinner in Kathmandu and Pokhara (apart from farewell dinners), you are free to have whatever you wish. Explore locals markets and do window shopping
Every journey is incomplete without shopping. In all three cities- Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan, you'll get a chance to explore the local markets and buy art & crafts. Thamel and Lakeside market are especially famous for window shopping. You can get many things like pashmina, clothes, hem bags, jewels, Thangka paintings, antiques, dolls, etc.
