AN AMAZING INTRODUCTION TO NEPAL
My time in Nepal was organised by a Sydney tour company using Outfitter Himalayas and I was attracted to this tour based on the visit to a national park and the option of helicopter to base camp and the rest was a bonus.I had considered trekking to base camp but decided against it but having now visited Nepal I think maybe a return trip is in order to do a trek.Guide Suraj Pokhrel and driver where both understanding to peoples needs.Plenty of free time to explore Kathmandu and Pokhara at one's own pace.Standard accommodation was centrally located and breakfast plentiful.Thank you Outfitter Himalaya for a memorable trip.

This was my third trip to Nepal, my second organised by Arjun, and my first with my colleague and trek partner, Lauren.Once again, Arjun's organisation and communication throughout was second to none. I was left in no doubt that all would run smoothly. Even when minor issues arose (not the fault of OutfitterHimalaya), they were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. The trek itself was everything we had anticipated. Remote, uncrowded, beautiful and tough.
Ably led by our guide, Dipak Rijal, and supported by our porter, Loktu, who both checked on and looked after our welfare throughout our trek. Dipak's knowledge and 13 years of experience showed as he expertly guided us across multiple landslips and earthquake damage. Dipak's support, particularly during the icy crossing of Larke La, was impressive.Lastly, I want to pay tribute to the friendliness of the Nepali people. A nation that has had more than its' fair share of natural disasters, the Nepali people still greet all comers with warmth and a wonderful smile.I fully recommend OutfitterHimalaya when you are planning a visit to Nepal and/or Bhutan. Whether it be a leisurely, cultural tour of either country, or something more strenuous. Namaste.Simon AggettFrom: United KingdomDec 19, 2023 - 5/5
One of the best trek experience
Just returned from the Everest Base Camp Trek with Outfitters Himalaya. One of the best trek experience my sis and i have had. Of the many tour agencies i reached out to, Arjun was very responsive, patient and knowledgeable. He was never pushy and was able to provide us with information that we required which gave us alot of comfort. The trek was very smooth from start to end and everything was well arranged. We also had the opportunity to trek with our guide, Pralad and porter, Sarude.
Both of whom were excellent and attentive. We were well taken care of throughout the trip - for example, because it was so cold, Pralad made sure to request for rooms which could get some sunlight (thus warmer) at the guesthouses as well as got us extra blankets. I also ended up getting altitude sickness and had to be heli evacuated. Arjun and Pralad were very helpful and made the necessary transport and hospital arrangements.
Arjun constantly checked in when i was warded and i was able to recover without having to worry about the administrative matters.
Would definitely trek with Outfitters Himalaya again when i am in Nepal.JeannetteFrom: SingaporeDec 07, 2023 - 5/5
The Best Holiday in Nepal
I can honestly say this was one of the best holidays of my life. Nepal is an amazing country with incredibly humble and lovely people. Arjun Rijal from Outfitter Himalaya made sure every part of our trip ran smoothly and our main tour guide SURAJ POKHREL was so nice and nothing was a problem and always made sure we were happy. All tour guides were excellent and a special mention to SOBITA KHANAL who was also extremely nice and very knowledgeable. Our bus driver AKASHAKALA ARYAL was an incredible driver and not once did we ever not feel safe.
He was also a very happy and caring man. Thank you big time to him and Sura for making our trip so memorable. Our group of 6 all loved this holiday. Some mornings were early starts, but all worth it when you feel like you are standing on the top of the world watching the sun rise. Every day was a fantastic adventure and every place we went to was incredible. It is a fast pace, but well worth it and I can't thank everyone involved for the wonderful time that we had. I highly recommend this company, as the hotels were very good, the meals organised great and the tour people amazing.

The variety of cultural experiences our group (a lovely group of people by the way) had was incredible and I can say that every moment was enjoyable and worth every minute. Thank you Sobita for sharing so many amazing facts and stories about Hindu and Buddhist culture, festivalsand the diverse gods and goddesses that are so integral to Nepalese culture. Thank you Suraj for sharing so much about Nepalese culture through our time together on beautiful walks looking out to the mountains and over the valleys, walking up the mountain to the amazing Peace Stupa at Pokhara, the sunrise experience at Sarankot, and so many other beautiful experiences such as the boat ride on Phewa Lake. Thanks to our driver Akashakalal Aryal who was always friendly, attentive to our needs on our many journeys through the fascinating streets of Kathmandu and our longer sojourns to Pokhara and Chitwan National Park. Amazing 1st Trek
I arrived in Nepal with no plans to go on a trek. But then it didn’t make sense to come to Nepal and not go on a trek! We did some research and the reviews for Himalaya Outfitters were good. We didn’t have much time, so we decided to do the 3-day Poon Hill trek. It was absolutely incredible! Our guide, Pralad, was really nice. He always made sure we were enjoying our meals and the overall hike.
I unfortunately had altitude sickness closer to the top of a Poon Hill, but when we were at our hotel, Pralad brought me an extra blanket and told me that I could knock on his door any time. He always wanted to make sure I felt comfortable. It’s the small things that really made the experience great (even in the unexpected circumstances). It was definitely a challenging trek, but I would highly recommend Himalaya Outfitters to anyone wanting to do a trek!
Highly Recomended!Joshua SnitgenFrom: United StatesJun 26, 2023 - 5/5
Beautiful Nepal
Nepal has always held a certain fascination for me and I am so very thankful that I was blessed to visit her and meet some fine people.
I cannot thank you enough for having been such a terrific guide … you are knowledgeable (a definite credit to your profession) and observe a strict code of professional ethics (when you chose not to join us while trekking in Chitwan out of respect for Dev, the other guide).
But more importantly, you took very good care of us. You considered my suggestion to do one of the treks in “reverse” while we were in Pokhara taking into consideration that some of us may have found it tricky to stick to the original plan and I was most thankful and appreciative of your sensitivity.
My time in Nepal was made more enjoyable and memorable largely due to you, Ramesh … you did make a difference! I must also thank Raju for his excellent driving and cheerful manner … you both make a great team. Please do tell Raju that I asked of him and wish him and his family all the very best… I am sure little Arss will grow up to be a fine person like his father.
Well, Ramesh, it was a pleasure meeting you … one of Nepal’s finest tour guides.
Do know that I think very kindly of you, am very proud of you and wish you and your loved ones all the very best in life … much happiness, good health, success and peace of mind.
Thank you for treasured memories, Ramesh; take care, stay safe and God Bless!!!
With fond regards

Best Photography Tour in Nepal
I thought the trip was a real adventure and fantastic! Road works were in progress and we took longer to travel between places but those who flew definitely missed out on "the real experience". The driver and guides were very helpful and informative and I felt sorry for the driver having to have such long days skillfully navigating traffic.
We were lucky to see plenty of wildlife in Chitwan and it was rather special to have a rhino right beside the road. Our guide in Chitwan was very knowledgeable and helpful and the accommodation was fantastic. It was great to experience the Cultural show. Our city guide in Kathmandu was also very knowledgeable and helpful, as was our main guide.
Having 2 groups of 10 passengers was a great idea as we were able to get to know each other well and it was a good number for the guides/driver to handle. It was unfortunate, though, that our main guide was not present at the farewell dinner. I felt that the whole trip was organised well.
I think it a great idea that we were able to see the sunrise over the Annapurna Range and the Everest flight was also great.RobynFrom: AustraliaJun 14, 2023
