Chisapani Nagarkot Trekking in Nepal offers plenty to see and enjoy. Here are some of the main attractions that make it unique!

One of the most refreshing parts of the Nepal Chisapani Nagarkot trek is walking through Shivapuri National Park. This forested area on the northern edge of Kathmandu is a green wonderland, and it is within a short distance of the city.

Shivapuri National Park was established in 2002 to conserve natural habitats and biodiversity. The park covers an area of 159 square kilometers (61 square miles). Currently, the region has more than 500 kinds of plants, hundreds of birds, and some wildlife, such as leopards, spotted deer, and wild boar. The park is also the source of major rivers such as Bagmati, making it very important for the valley.

With amazing views and a peaceful environment, Shivapuri is more than just a forest for the trekker; it is a breath of fresh air at the beginning of your Trek.

Changu Narayan Temple is a gorgeous ancient temple that combines history, religion, and art. Located on a peaceful hilltop in Bhaktapur, it is said to be Nepal's oldest temple (4th century) and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

The temple is famed for its exquisite wood and stone carvings, nearly all of which illustrate tales from Hindu mythology. Visitors can walk through peaceful courtyards, admire the intricate architecture, and enjoy views over the countryside.

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Changu Narayan is a place of pilgrimage and tourism. Apart from its religious importance, it is full of history, with ancient inscriptions that give a fascinating glimpse into Nepal's rich historical beliefs.
