Your adventure begins in Kathmandu, where golden pagodas, vibrant markets, and centuries-old temples introduce you to Nepal’s deep cultural roots. The trip is guided by an experienced English-speaking guide who will introduce you to the sites and share the history, myths, and stories around those places.
From there, the journey takes you to Pokhara, the lakeside city framed by the Annapurna range, before heading into the foothills trek- a short, beginner-friendly hike that offers postcard views of Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South without high-altitude risks. We begin trekking in the Annapurna region on the fourth day of the Best of Nepal adventure Itinerary. The walk takes place within the Annapurna Conservation Area. We will walk through dense forests of oak, rhododendron, pine, and fir. We will walk through remote villages and cross numerous suspension bridges. Similarly, we will walk on several stone staircases and share the Trail with shepherds.
After the mountains, the adventure continues to the subtropical lowlands of Chitwan National Park, home to rhinos, crocodiles, and a diverse array of exotic bird species.
