Next, you will pass through misty forests and viewpoints like Nagthali Danda to reach Thuman and Briddim. These homely Tamang villages offer a chance to slow down and connect with local life.
From Briddim, your adventure shifts into alpine mode. You will trek up to Lama Hotel, then Langtang Village, following a trail lined with chortens and crossing the Langtang River. Soon, you will reach Kyanjin Gompa, the spiritual and scenic high point of the Trek. You will take an extra day here to hike up KyanjinRi or TserkoRi for beautiful sunrise and panoramic views, and don't forget to try some fresh yak cheese while you are there!

You start at Syabrubesi (1,500m) and climb steadily through Gatlang (2,238m), Tatopani (2,607m), and Thuman (2,340m). The trail descends slightly to Briddim (1,760m) before climbing to Lama Hotel (2,480m) and Langtang Village (3,430m). Your overnight highest altitude is KyanjinGompa (3,830m) - a serene village surrounded by towering peaks.
