This is an exclusive opportunity to experience the best of Nepal's hospitality. You will spend quality time and top-notch hospitality, a space to collect your thoughts and unwind.
Two extra full days in Kathmandu before and after the trek
We have two full days in Kathmandu before and after the trek. This gives you plenty of time to visit historical sites, pack, and explore the bustling city.
We even offer a guided sightseeing tour to monuments such as Pashupatinath Temple, Monkey Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Likewise, you can visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Patan Durbar Square, which many travelers seem to miss because they need more time in Kathmandu; however, you can do it on the second last day of the trek. You can also shop freely and visit art galleries, museums, and spas.
Thrilling Lukla flight and riches of Sagarmatha National Park
One of the most talked-about flights in the world, the Kathmandu-Lukla flight is known for its scenic aerial views of the Himalayas and thrilling landing/takeoff at Lukla airport. It is a short 35-minute flight to Lukla, the starting point of the Deluxe Everest Base Camp Trek. If you want to escape this overwhelming flight, opt for our EBC Trek by Road.
Trek in to the Sagarmatha National Park (the highest national Park)
The Sagarmatha National Park is home to numerous plants and animals. From Monjo village onwards, it goes up to Mt. Everest. The park begins in subtropical forests and ascends to rhododendron and magnolia forests. Soon, pine and junipers emerge with green terraces and open up to rocky hills, cold mountains, and glaciers.
Hanging suspension bridges, picturesque villages, and lovely river valleys
The Deluxe Everest base camp trek is very adventurous. In the first two days of the trek, you will cross many hanging bridges of different sizes over the Dudh Koshi River. You will come across cascading waterfalls, tributaries, and streams. Walking past beautiful Sherpa villages like Phadking, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Pangboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche, you make it to the last settlement, Gorak Shep.
Welcoming locals and have a sneak peek into the daily lifestyle of Sherpas
You spend nights in mountain villages during the Deluxe Everest Base Camp trek with Outfitter Himalaya. You will be awed by the lifestyle you experience and the humble natives of the Khumbu region. You will learn closely about the famous Sherpas and people from other ethnic groups. The locals along the EBC trail are very welcoming, and you will not feel distant or awkward at all.
Ample acclimatization days with exciting side hikes
The Deluxe Everest base camp trek has two acclimatization days, one in Namche Bazaar and another in Dingboche village. Acclimatization days are crucial for a safe trek and to avoid altitude sickness. You also get to rest and spend more time with the locals. The acclimatization days consist of hiking to the nearby viewpoints in the morning and spending the remaining day relaxing and exploring the village. In Namche Bazaar, you will hike to the Everest View Hotel. Similarly, in Dingboche, you will hike to Nagarshtang Hill.
Ancient monasteries, stupas, and prayer flags along the way
Among the many factors, the visits to ancient monasteries along the Trail make this remote adventure more meaningful and offer a better understanding of the civilization in the Everest region. Apart from the monasteries, the Trail has many stupas, chortens, and prayer flags. Fluttering prayer flags are fastened on all the bridges and near any risky points.
Walk on glaciers and moraines to reach Everest base camp
Above Dingboche, the tree line diminishes, and you begin trekking on glaciers to Dughla. The Trail then goes along the lateral moraine of the Khumbu glacier. It follows a rocky, steep uphill to Everest base camp. The Everest Base Camp is marked with a signboard, and you can see hundreds of tents of mountaineers. Surrounded by rocky hills, snow-capped mountains, and a thick blanket of snow, EBC is a moving glacier.
Hike Kalapattar View Point
The highest point of the deluxe Everest base camp trek is Kala Patthar. Your uphill walk ends at Kala Patthar, the highest point of our deluxe Everest base camp trekking. Kala Patthar is a popular viewpoint. Trekkers hike here to see a jaw-dropping sunrise and magical mountain panorama. Kala Pattar offers one of the best views of Mt. Everest.
Never-ending mountain companionship and diverse landscapes
Deluxe Everest base camp trek is a venture in the ocean of mountains and hills. They will be your constant companion. As the views of high peaks unfold, you will be mesmerized by their presence. Many trekkers usually get shocked to learn that peaks like Ama Dablam and the Lhotse wall are higher than the snout-like Everest. The Khumbu region of Nepal offers the best views of the mountains up close.
The diverse landscapes, changing from lush green to dry and barren in just a few days, will blow your mind. You will view Snow-capped Himalayan Mountains like Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Chamlang, Pumori, Cholatse, and countless others along the way to EBC.

You walk on a downhill trail through lush woodlands, crossing many suspension bridges and remote villages like Ghat.

The Trail ascends to Monjo village, following the banks of the Dudh Koshi River. You will cross this river many times on the way. From Monjo, the Trail enters the Sagarmatha National Park. Walking past lush rhododendron and magnolia forests, we ascend to Namche Bazaar. The final few hundred meters of the Trail are steep.
Namche Bazaar is the largest Sherpa settlement area in the Everest region, with many modern facilities.
On this day, we have an acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar. Acclimatization is adjusting your body to the altitude, and we hike to a high altitude and return to Namche Bazaar to sleep at a low elevation.
For the hike, we go to the Everest View Hotel, where we can see the first glimpse of Mt. Everest. The hiking trail is rough and follows a hillside. We can see views of Mt. Khumbila, Thamserku, and Kongde Ri on the way.
From Namche Bazaar, the Trail first descends to Phungi Thenga and then straight to Tengboche village. The mountain views along the way are fantastic. In this village, we will visit the largest monastery in the Everest region, the Tengboche Monastery. Mt. Ama Dablam's view is particularly striking from Tengboche. After visiting the Monastery, we will hike down to Dibuche village for overnight stay.
The Trail descends from Deboche and cross a suspension bridge over Imja Khola and follow an uphill route to Pangboche village. We will hike along a quaint trail and lovely terraces to Dingboche village.
The views of Island Peak, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam are mesmerizing on this part of the Trail.
We take another rest day in Dingboche village. Then, we have the option to hike to Nagarshtang Hill or Chuukung. Both hikes present stunning mountain landscapes.
Spend the remaining day in Dingboche resting and talking with locals.
Leaving Dingboche village, we walk past bushes and junipers. Soon, we reach a point from where the lateral moraine of the Khumbu glacier begins. We walk on a glacier to Dughla and continue the trek to Lobuche village. The Trail is steep and slippery, so we must be extra careful.
Today, we will pass by the last settlement area, Gorak Shep, before ascending to Everest base camp. It is a big day and starts early in the morning. Leaving Lobuche village, we trek along the Khumbu Glacier, enjoying towering views of the surrounding mountains. Walking past memorial chortens, we follow the steep, rocky route to EBC.
You will not spend a night here; instead, after spending some time at the base camp, you will descend to Gorak Shep.
Today, we have the last high ascend. Begin the day at dawn and hike to Kala Patthar, following a rugged route. The ascend is demanding but also offers the most enchanting mountain panorama. Walking through the clouds, you will reach Kala Patthar and later descend to Pheriche to spend the night.
The Trail from Pheriche goes through small villages and forested paths. You will walk past Pangboche and retrace the path back to Namche Bazaar via Tengboche village. The scenery while trekking back is equally rewarding.
