Every international trekker entering the Annapurna Conservation Area requires an ACAP permit. The current fee is NPR 3,000 for most foreign nationals and NPR 1,000 for SAARC nationals. Children under 10 do not pay the conservation-area entry fee.

When an agency-issued TIMS card is used for the selected route, the current SAARC rate is NPR 1,000. In contrast, most other international trekkers pay NPR 2,000. The reduced permit rate does not automatically reduce the entire package price. Accommodation, meals, transportation, guide and porter services are priced according to the itinerary and group size rather than nationality.
